North of Chile is known for one of the clearest skies in the world. The biggest observatories are in the beginning of the Elqui Valley and Atacama's desert (La Silla, Pachon, Tololo,...), but only available for astrophisics doctors.

For that reason have we seen the last ten years some new ones only for tourism purpouse (Mamalluca, El Pangue, Cancana).
