This ship takes you to explore the Northern Icefields of Patagonia, starting from Puerto Montt and navigating in the San Rafael Lagoon and The Quitralco Fjord. Built in the companies ship factory in 1988, it has 55 cabins with a capacity, based on double, of 110 passengers and that it can be increased to 160 rooms based on triple or quadruple cabins. It also counts, with matrimonial cabins and beautifully decorated suites. All cabins have a private bathroom, in-house telephones, environmental music, and closed TV circuit. Its main dinning room can assist up to 160 passengers in one shift and it is completely equipped with a giant screen projector, closed circuit TV system and music for parties. It also counts with two bars, San Rafael and Quitralco (smokers/non smokers), with a capacity of 60 passengers each. Its wide decks allow you to rest on our beach chairs; passengers have free access to the control bridge and motor room. The gastronomy on board is international and mainly based on shellfish and fish, with a stable menu and open bar service.
THE CLASSIC ROUTE NAVIGATION PROGRAM Puerto Montt/ San Rafael Lagoon/ Puerto Montt 7 days / 6 nights (Saturday - Friday)
DAY 1 SATURDAY
11:00 hrs. - Sail from the Puerto Montt Skorpios Terminal. Navigate through the archipelago of Llanquihue. Sighting of the city of Calbuco. Ancud Gulf, Chiloé archipelago, crossing of the Corcovada Gulf at midnight.
------------------------------------------------------------ DAY 2 SUNDAY
08:00 hrs. - Navigation through the Moraleda & Ferronave Canals, arrival at Puerto Aguirre at 11:00 hrs. The stopover in this fishing village will be for one and a half hours. 12:30 hrs. - sail through the Ferronave, Pilcomayo & Costal Canals. At approximately 21:30 hrs - anchor in the Hualas Fishing Village or Puerto Leopardes, 20 miles from the San Rafael Glacier.
------------------------------------------------------------ DAY 3 MONDAY
07:30 hrs. - Furrow through the San Rafael Inlet and the Témpanos Canal. 09:00 hrs. - Enter the Lagoon and anchor 2 kms. off the Glacier. 7:00 hrs. - set sail in the direction of Quiltralco Fjord.
------------------------------------------------------------ DAY 4 TUESDAY
08:00 hrs. - anchor at the Quiltralco dock. After breakfast the passengers can take thermal baths in waters of 30º - 36ºC, in open-air and closed pools. If the climate permits, excursions in motorboats are available within the Fjord. 19:00 hrs. - Sail towards Chiloé, navigating through the Moraleda and Pérez Norte Canals.
------------------------------------------------------------ DAY 5 WEDNESDAY
08.00 hrs. - Navigating through the Leucayec Canal, there is a partial view of Melinka, in the Chonos Archipelago, an island that in past times was refuge to notorious pirates. Cross the Corcadova Gulf and sail along the east coast of Chiloé, anchor and view optional, if the climatic conditions permit, in Quellón or Queilen & continue navigation through the Yal Canal and Castro Inlet, arriving at the beautiful city of Castro at 21:00 hrs.
------------------------------------------------------------ DAY 6 THURSDAY
08:30 hrs. - Castro. After breakfast passengers can visit the handicraft markets, the museum, the Church and walk along the streets of this picturesque city. Optional tours to the city of Chonchi, a distance of 18 kms. are available. 12:45 hrs. – return to the Skorpios. 13:00 hrs. - sail through the Castro Inlet & the Lemy, Dalachaue, Ouicaví and Cabuco Canals. 21:00 hrs. Farewell dinner. 23:00 hrs. - arrival at Puerto Montt.

08:00 hrs. - Anchor at the Tenglo Terminal dock. 08:00 – 09:00 hrs.- Disembarkation and transfer of passengers.
